Betty Fetrow celebrates birthday

Hazel Clothier and Bill and Margie Williams attended the 80th birthday celebration for Betty Fetrow Sunday evening at her home. There was a large crowd and lots of good food and desserts.
Betty's children displayed lots of art Betty had done over the years. It was very nice. We wish her a happy birthday — and many more!
Clint Stopples' message "Believing in Christ and Having Faith," Sunday morning was taken from Matthew 14: 23-33.
Wonsevu Ladies Aid met Thursday for an all-day meeting. Those present were Denise Lany, Margaret Morgan, Patty Mitchell, Evelyn Sidener, Bev Morgan, and Margie Williams. Ladies Aid will meet again Thursday.
You are invited to join members at the Wonsevu Christian Church for the Ladies Aid soup supper and bazaar on Saturday. Serving will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. There will be a silent auction for the quilt and there will be bazaar items to buy.
Jaimie Lang's Saturday overnight guest was Amy Mitchell.
John Lang and Johnny went to the Melvern Lake and camped out.
Friday dinner guest of Bill and Margie Williams was Terry Steinbacher of Wichita. Their Saturday dinner guest was Samantha Soyez from Florence. Carl Williams of Manhattan was a Sunday dinner guest.
Roy and Bev Reynolds went to McPherson Saturday for the Scottish Festival. They met Kathy and Floyd Dowell there. Floyd took over the MG he had restored. He belongs to the British Auto Club of Wichita. Bev said it is really a lot of fun.
Hazel Clothier visited Joyce Hett in Marion Thursday. Hazel and Bill and Margie Williams met Jean Everett at Town and Country Friday evening for supper. Hazel took Jack and Hope Spain over to Burns for lunch on Friday.
