Berns, Jones selected to all-tournament squad

Two Peabody-Burns Lady Warriors received post-tournament honors last week at the Eli J. Walter Classic at Berean Academy.
Andrea Jones, a senior, and Gretchen Berns, a sophomore, both made the all-tournament team.
Ten girls were selected for this honor from the teams which participated. Coaches from the eight teams chose players based on their performance throughout the tournament. The two Lady Warriors received medals for their efforts and were recognized after the championship game.
Jones is the daughter of Luke and Koni Jones of Peabody. Berns is the daughter of Fred and Lynn Berns of Peabody.
