Bennie Koop
Bennie Koop, 82, died Aug. 16, 2005, at Hillsboro Community Medical Center, Hillsboro.
Born Feb. 22, 1923, at Hillsboro, he was the son of Peter and Anna (Funk) Koop.
On June 10, 1951, he married Irma Ratzlaff at Balko, Okla.
He was a farmer/stockman and member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
Survivors include his wife, Irma of Hillsboro; two sons, Kim and Kathy Koop of Hillsboro and Dale and Mona Koop of Abilene; daughter, Brenda and Leonard Coryea of Hillsboro; brother, Wallace Koop of Shafter, Calif.; three sisters, Helen Loewen and Edna Suderman of Hillsboro and Lorna Gerbrandt of Sacramento, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Dave Plett officiating.
Burial was in Hillsboro MB Cemetery.
