Barbara Kottwitz
Barbara Ann Kottwitz, 65, of Hutchinson, died Jan. 25, 2005.
Born June 26, 1939, at Oakland, Calif., she was the daughter of Charles and Lucy (Koehler) Bellinghausen.
On Sept. 28, 1974, she married Max Kottwitz at Newton.
A former elementary school teacher at Peabody, she retired from St. Teresa Catholic Grade School, Hutchinson.
She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, the Red Hat Society, and Sisters of St. Joseph.
Survivors include her husband, Max; a son, Mark of Colby; a brother, Edward Bellinghausen of Knoxville, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
The rosary was recited Friday evening at Elliott Chapel.
Mass was said Saturday morning at St. Teresa Catholic Church with Father Stuart Smeltzer officiating.
Inurnment will be at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, at a later date.
A memorial fund has been established with St. Teresa Catholic Grade School.
