Barbara Evans
Barbara Bloomer (Cott) Evans, 57, died Jan. 9, 2003, at her home in Topeka.
Born Aug. 15, 1945, at Peabody, she was the daughter of Henry and Caroline (Petterson) Bloomer.
Most of her life was spent in Topeka where she was employed by Bill's Chuck Burger.
Survivors include two sons, Frank and Harry Cott, Topeka; three daughters, Betty Cott and Trease Cott, and Carolyn Crump, all of Topeka; three brothers, Don and John Bloomer of Peabody and Leonard Bloomer of Topeka; seven sisters, Shirley Solomon and Carol Piland of Peabody, Mary Russell, Karen Voth, and Sharon Smith of Newton, Dorothy Brown of Plainville, and April Deichen of Wichita; 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Tuesday morning at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
