Arts, crafts, antiques day is Saturday
In just a few days, the populations of Hillsboro and Marion will increase by 20,000 or more.
The 38th annual Hillsboro Arts and Crafts Fair will be in downtown Hillsboro.
Marion's 29th annual Art in the Park will be at Central Park. Both fairs will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Local and area vendors will join vendors from throughout the U.S. to offer homemade arts and craft items to shoppers.
Shuttle buses are available at both cities to provide transportation from parking areas to the craft show location.
Ten $20 gift certificates will be given away at 4 p.m. at Marion. Fair-goers must be present to win. The certificates are valid at any booth in the park until closing time.
Florence PRIDE will try to capitalize on the crowds by sponsoring an antique and arts fair.
Antique, craft, and food vendors will be set up in downtown Florence.
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
