Arnold Brenzikofer
Arnold F. Brenzikofer, 96, of Emporia, died June 5, 2007.
Born March 30, 1911, at Burns, he was the son of Frank and Ida (Stackley) Brenzikofer.
He was a co-op manager.
On Jan. 6, 1940, he married Bessie Thompson at El Dorado. She died in 1974.
On Sept. 6, 1975, he married Thelma Rankin at Kansas City. She died in 1994.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Gail Rollo of Harlingen, Texas; stepson, Jim Rigdon of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Harold Brenzikofer of Emporia and Leroy Brenzikofer of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Martha Shinn of Newton, Idabelle Boyd of Hutchinson, and Edna Bayes of Valley Center; 13 step-grandchildren; and 16 step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held June 9 at Presbyterian Manor chapel, Emporia, with the Rev. Jayne Duncan officiating.
Inurnment was at Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado.
