Area students receive degrees
Fourteen area students received associate of arts degrees from Butler Community College.
They were: Kent Henry and Barbara Stuhlsatz, Burns; Roberta Winter, Florence; Sri-chol Brown (Order of the Purple and member of honor society), Amanda Cook, Kim Kaufman (Order of the Gold), and Glenda Stoppel (Order of the Gold), Hillsboro; Sara Houdyshell, Lincolnville; Jennifer Abbott (Order of the Purple), Shawn Wunderlick (Order of the Purple), and Michael Yates, Marion; and Ranita Brown, Karol Graham, and Sheri Lewis, Peabody.
Students with a 4.0 grade point average earned Order of the Gold honors. Students with a 3.5 or higher GPA earned Order of the Purple honors.
