Patti and Amy Mitchell stopped in Christmas Day evening to say "Merry Christmas" and exchange gifts.

Jaimie Lang's weekend guest was Vanessa Yoakum of Cottonwood Falls.

We extend get-well wishes to Calvin Hodges at this time. We wish him a speedy recovery.

We extend our sympathy to the family of Bud McLinden. We lost another cowboy. I know he will be missed by the many who knew him.

Lonnie, Sharon, Justin, and Julia Smith spent Christmas Eve at Don and Erma Smith's home in Toronto. Sharon said they had a great time. There were about 70 present. The Smiths enjoyed Christmas Day together at home.

Hazel had supper Saturday evening with Bill, Margie, and Gary Williams and Terry Stienbacher of Wichita. Bill, Margie, and Gary had Christmas dinner with Terry Stienbacher in Wichita. Additional guests were Neva Hicks of Okmulgee, Okla., Alan Hicks of Seattle, and Paul Hicks of Wichita.

Belated Christmas dinner guests of Bill and Margie were Gary Williams, Carl Williams of Manhattan, Terry Stienbacher, Neva Hicks, Becka Kukuh of Hutchinson, and Hazel Clothier.

Bill, Margie, and Carl had supper Friday evening with Will, Gayla, Elliot, and Samantha Soyez. The guys watched the football game between Kansas State and Arizona State.

On Dec. 19, Denise Lang and Patti Mitchell had a surprise birthday party for Margaret Morgan and Margie Williams. Margaret's birthday was the 24th and Margie's, the 25th. It was nice. Others present were Bev Morgan and Doni Rogers.

I want to say "Happy Belated Birthday" to Orval Goodwin and Mary Turner. Their birthdays also were Dec. 25. Orval calls me every year on Christmas Day to wish me a happy birthday. He turned 90 on Christmas Day. I told him my age and he said, "You're just a kid." That is an honor to turn 90.

Our wish is that all of you had a wonderful and safe Christmas and will have a very good New Year! Have a good week!
