Ammeter works election board

LaVonne Ammeter and Joyce Kyle worked on the election board in Burns April 1. I was sure disappointed in the vote from Summit Township. I know there wasn't much to vote on, but we should exercise our right to vote. Seven voters were all there were. LaVonne and Joyce took the ballots to Marion after the polls closed.
LaVonne went to Marion the morning of March 31 to get the ballots for Tuesday's election.
Twentieth Century Club met at Dorene Kirkpatrick's that afternoon. Sherry Nightengale picked up Betty Kyle, Joyce Kyle, and Lou Sayers. LaVonne Ammeter came later. We had 100% in attendance.
Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Those quilting were Leona Widler, Maude Gaines, Sherry Nightengale, and Dorene Kirkpatrick.
LaVonne Ammeter attended the dedication of the new community building in Burns Wednesday afternoon. Wow, what a crowd, and such a lovely building. A big thank you to all responsible and to the volunteer workers.
Don visited LaVonne Thursday morning.
Melody Magette of Greensburg arrived at the Ammeter farm Friday noon to spend the night and Saturday with her mother. We went to El Dorado in the afternoon. Melody returned home Saturday afternoon.
Ty and Marcie Fredrickson visited LaVonne and Melody Saturday morning. They came to see the new baby calves.
Maude Gaines visited Ike and Marie Clark Thursday afternoon.
Michele Montgomery visited LaVonne late Friday afternoon. Josh Clark visited LaVonne Saturday afternoon and Maude Gaines visited late Saturday afternoon.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne ate lunch at the Chuck Wagon Sunday after church. They visited a short time with Geneva Widler of Marion, Arlene Wilbur of El Dorado, and Norma Widler. They visited Elsie Tittle in Florence in the afternoon.
Stan Ammeter was a Friday afternoon and Sunday evening visitor of LaVonne.
