Ammeter visits in Minden

LaVonne Ammeter and Opal Craney accompanied Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., to Minden, Neb., March 1 to visit Angela and Chad Bunger, grandchildren of Opal and LaVonne. They all attended the production "Sound of Music" at the Minden Opera House. Angle's sister was in the production. Myron and Sally brought Opal and LaVonne home Sunday.
LaVonne worked Monday in the canteen at the Bloodmobile in Peabody with Marge Gray, Mildred Buller, Arlene Unruh, Gwen Gaines, and Marsha Cooper.
LaVonne and Dorene Kirkpatrick worked in El Dorado Tuesday.
Maude Gaines came home from the hospital Tuesday morning and is recuperating at home.
Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Sherry Nightengale and Dorene Kirkpatrick attended. Ron brought Dorene and visited a little while.
Melody Magette of Greensburg arrived at the Ammeter farm late Wednesday evening to spend the night and to take LaVonne to El Dorado for cataract surgery Thursday morning. Melody and LaVonne took Maude Gaines to the doctor in Marion Friday morning. Melody went home late Friday afternoon.
Michelle Montgomery visited LaVonne Saturday afternoon.
Ike and Marie Clark visited Maude Gaines Friday afternoon and LaVonne and Sally Matz visited her Saturday afternoon.
We had church at Summit this past Sunday. Pastor Dave, as usual, had a great sermon.
