Ammeter reports busy week

LaVonne attended the funeral service for Margaret (Brewer) Popp at the Whitewater Center Church Monday afternoon and helped with the dinner for the family.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne went to Peabody Monday afternoon to do some shopping.

LaVonne joined the Burns Senior Citizens Tuesday for an enjoyable trip to Schowalter Villa in Hesston. Good food, good fellowship, and a really good day.

Don Gillet and Albert Hess visited Tuesday afternoon with LaVonne. Albert visited Maude Gaines later that afternoon.

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Those attending were Leona Widler, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherry Nightengale, and Maude Gaines came for the first time since she broke her leg.

Other Wednesday afternoon visitors at LaVonne's were Albert Hess, Kerri Wiebe and Tiana, and Michelle Bose and Dylan. Dylan and Cloe visited in the evening.

Maude Gaines enjoyed a visit Thursday from LaVonne as well as Bonnie Richards, Joannie Clark, Betty Wagner, and Marie Clark of El Dorado.

Thursday evening LaVonne accompanied Glen and Betty Kyle to Marion. They visited with the family of Harold Goodwin at the funeral home.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived Thursday evening at the Ammeter farm. He spent the night, accompanied LaVonne to the doctor and shopping in El Dorado, and returned home late Friday evening.

Gary Davis of Newton was a Sunday dinner guest of LaVonne. Stan Ammeter was a supper guest.

Sympathy and prayers to the Popp, Brewer, and Goodwin families.
