Ammeter News: Women quilt at Peabody

Ladies Aid did not meet Wednesday. Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, and LaVonne Ammeter went to Peabody Senior Center for lunch and helped Sally Matz quilt. Dorene Kirkpatrick and Sadie Decker joined the group later.
Melody Magette of Dodge City arrived at the Ammeter farm late Wednesday afternoon to spend the night and take LaVonne to St. Luke Hospital in Marion Thursday for a stress test.
Stan Ammeter and Don Gillet were Wednesday evening supper guests of LaVonne and Melody.
Rose Watts of Agency, Mo., visited LaVonne and Melody Thursday afternoon. Melody left for home late afternoon.
Kate and Anna Watts of Missouri and Seyan Watts of Oklahoma City, Okla., arrived late Friday evening at Aunt LaVonne's to spend the night. They had been to a wedding rehearsal in Burrton.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne visited Ike and Marie Clark Saturday afternoon. Ruth and Bruce Emke from Ohio also were visitors. They came to spend the weekend. Diane Nelson and Bruce's grandson from Fort Riley visited.
The Watts were Saturday evening and overnight guests of LaVonne. We all attended church Sunday morning at Summit. Stan came to visit late in the morning. Katie, Anna, Matt, and Seyan left before lunch to visit their grandparents, Bob and Mary Watts in Newton.
George and Ron Watts of Agency, Mo., stopped by LaVonne's on their way home Sunday afternoon.
LaVonne was in Marion Monday for a doctor's appointment. She visited Maude Gaines in the afternoon.
Monday evening visitors of LaVonne were Donna and Chris Ramsey, Ethan and Alex of Florence.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne went to El Dorado on Tuesday. They visited Gordon and Joannie Clark and Bill and Marie Clark.
We've sure had lovely fall weather and a little moisture.
