Ammeter News: Women purchase peaches

Ladies Aid met at LaVonne Amemter's Wednesday afternoon. Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, and Dorene Kirkpatrick attended.

LaVonne and Maude went to Wee Little Acres at Durham late Wednesday afternoon to purchase peaches. They ate supper in Hillsboro.

Lois and Lawrence Sayer visited LaVonna Wednesday evening.

Maude and LaVonne visited Nonie Widler and Arlene Scrivner Friday afternoon at Legacy Park, Peabody.

LaVonne attended a birthday party in Florence Saturday evening at the home of Jack and Peggy Clark. The party celebrated Kindleigh's first birthday.

Maude and LaVonne attended church at Whitewater Center Sunday morning. They ate lunch in Florence in the afternoon and visited Elsie Tittle.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived Monday night at the Ammeter farm to spend the night and Tuesday. Stan also was an evening visitor. Blaine and Stan were Tuesday supper guests and Blaine returned home later in the evening.

LaVonne and Maude attended a potluck dinner Tuesday at Burns Community Center. Pastor David Ragland gave a presentation about his trip to Kiev, Ukraine. It was interesting.
