Ammeter News: Seniors quilt

Sherry, Dorene, and Maude attended Ladies Aid at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne ate dinner at Peabody Senior Center Thursday. We quilted and had a really good dinner.
Don Gillet visited LaVonne on Friday.
LaVonne attended a cookout Saturday evening at the John Boese home for Dylan's birthday. It was a lovely evening with good food and visiting. Stan Ammeter also attended.
Later Steve and Melody Magette of Dodge City arrived to spend the night and Sunday. They had been to the Kansas State University football game. They and Stan Ammeter were Sunday dinner guests.
Cindy Holt called LaVonne Monday morning to tell her Jack Widler had passed away. Later Carolyn Holm of Wichita, Becky Holm of El Dorado, and LaVonne visited Laura at Marion Manor. They ate lunch in Marion, did some shopping, went back home, and visited awhile.
Maude Gaines and Sally Matz of Peabody went to the birthday celebration for Ike and Marie Clark at the Burns Community Building Saturday. Ike's birthday was Sept. 11. It was a big day with lots of visiting and food.
LaVonne picked up Maude Gaines Tuesday and they went to the senior citizen's potluck dinner at Burns Community Building. Late afternoon, Maude and LaVonne visited Aunt Nonie Widler at Legacy Park. They then went on to Durham to get peaches at Wee Little Acres. On the way home they ate in Hillsboro.
Lavonne visited the Laurence Sayers Tuesday evening. Lois is getting along really well after her back surgery. Stan Ammeter was a supper guest of LaVonne's.
The community extends prayers and sympathy to Leona Widler, Ron and Dorene Kirkpatrick, and their families in the loss of Jack Widler.
