Ammeter news: Mattheyers and Rackley enjoy a few days with LaVonne

Kenneth and Betty Mattheyer of Marshall, Texas, and Sue Rackley of Chandler, Okla., arrived Friday afternoon at the Ammeter farm to spend a few days.

Visitors Saturday of LaVonne, Kenneth, Betty, and Sue were Richard and Lucille Wyss of Florence and Jack and Carolyn Metz of Wichita. They evening was spent visiting and playing Turkey Tracks. Kathryn and Bob Ireland of Newton visited Sunday afternoon.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne were shopping Monday in Hillsboro. Maude and Lavonne were in Florence Friday.

Dorene Kirkpatrick and LaVonne did a papering patch job Tuesday at Peabody State Bank.

Michele Boise and Dylan visited Tuesday evening with LaVonne. They decorated cake.

Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, and Dorene Kirkpatrick attended Ladies Aid Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's.

Kerrie Wiebe and Tiana picked up LaVonne Thursday morning. They went to Burns to the food pantry.

Josh Clark visited Friday afternoon with LaVonne.

Dinner guests Sunday of LaVonne and her houseguests were Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood and Stan Ammeter. Supper guests were Carolyn Metz of Wichita, Richard and Lucille Wyss of Florence, Gerald and Shirley Abraham of Whitewater, Martha and Alan Wyss of Burns, Blaine Ammeter, Stan Ammeter, B.J. Ammeter and Todd Ammeter of Manhattan, and Betty and Lee Bowers of Wichita. After supper we all enjoyed homemade ice cream and cake.

Maude Gaines and Sal Matz of Peabody went Saturday with Patti and Ronnie Gaines to El Dorado for a Clark reunion at the country home of Michele and John Banks.
