Ammeter news: Local correspondent has a busy week

Maude Gaines and LaVonne were shopping Tuesday in Peabody.
Dorene Kirkpatrick, Maude Gaines, and Sherry Nightengale met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon for Ladies Aid.
Stan Ammeter was a supper guest of LaVonne Wednesday evening.
Maude and LaVonne were in Marion Thursday for doctor's appointments, shopping, and lunch.
Don Gillet visited LaVonne Thursday afternoon. Michele Boise and Chloe were evening visitors to help decorate cake.
LaVonne and Chloe were in Peabody Friday to deliver cake to Legacy Park and have lunch. They visited Bill Krause at Legacy Park.
Later Friday Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island arrived at the Ammeter farm. Myron, Sally, Chloe, and Stan Ammeter were supper guests.
Sally, Myron, LaVonne, and Opal Craney went to Wamego Saturday morning to visit Chad, Angela, and Mitchell. We ate lunch with them. Afterward we all went to Salina to visit Eric and Kristin and new great-grandson, Matthew. Myron and Sally brought me home Saturday evening and spent the night and Sunday with Opal.
Matthew Eric is sure a handsome little guy. Of course that's Grandma's opinion. Opal and LaVonne really enjoyed great-grandson Mitchell.
Gary Davis was a dinner guest Sunday of LaVonne.
Maude Gaines went with Shelly Harper and Ben of Inman to Perry to visit Sally and Jim Abel. They were having a birthday celebration for Maude's great-granddaughter.
We had church at Summit Sunday. Was so glad to have Pastor Linda and Steve Glover with us.
