LaVonne and guests Kenneth and Betty Mattheyer and Sue Rockley visited Monday with Martha Wyss and Alan Wyss at De Graff. We ate lunch in Peabody and spent the afternoon visiting Richard and Lucille Wyss in Florence. After arriving home Kenneth fixed supper. Stan Ammeter joined us for supper.

Tuesday morning we visited the Summit and Ebenezer cemeteries. LaVonne, Betty, and Kenneth went to Wichita to Carolyn and Jack Metz's and were overnight and Wednesday guests. Our visitors left for their homes Wednesday afternoon.

Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon even though she wasn't home. Carolyn brought LaVonne home late Wednesday and spent the night. Stan was an evening visitor.

Carolyn and LaVonne visited the museum in Burns and Prairie Arts to see Dot Strotkamp's exhibit. We ate lunch at Burns Café.

Melody Magette of Dodge City arrived Thursday afternoon to stay until Saturday. Melody Magette, Maude Gaines, and LaVonne enjoyed the Co-op Appreciation dinner Friday at Burns in the community building.

LaVonne and Melody spent Friday afternoon in El Dorado.

Michele Boise and Chloe visited Friday evening with LaVonne.

Maude Gaines attended the 80th birthday celebration for Gwen Gaines Saturday evening at the Pat Post home.

Prayers and sympathy to the Shanklin families.

Don't forget to give thanks for the lovely rain and cool weather.
