Ammeter news: Large group attends K-State football game

Blaine and Carol Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived Friday evening at the Ammeter farm to spend the weekend. Saturday morning Laura Moore of Newton brought A.J. to go with Blaine and Carol and LaVonne to the K-State football game at Manhattan. They tailgated before the game. Also attending were Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Melody and Steve Magette of Dodge City, Eric and Kristin Magette and Matthew of Salina, B.J. and Jodie Ammeter and Todd Ammeter of Manhattan, and Angela Bunger and Mitchell of Wamego. Carol and LaVonne took care of Mitchell while the rest went to the game.

Blaine and Carol and LaVonne took A.J. back to Newton and visited Laura Moore.

Stan Ammeter was a Sunday morning visitor.

Dinner guests Sunday of LaVonne were Blaine and Carol Ammeter, Gary Davis of Newton, and Stan Ammeter. Afternoon visitors were Chris and Donna Ramsey, Ethan and Alex of Florence.

Carol and Blaine went to Wichita late afternoon to watch Ali Moore's soccer game.

LaVonne picked up Joyce Kyle, Lois Sayers, and Sherry Nightengale Monday to attend the 20th Century Club luncheon at Arletta's in Burns.

Norma and LeRoy Riggs of Marion visited Monday afternoon with Maude Gaines. LaVonne joined them later in the afternoon.

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Attending were Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Maude Gaines.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne were in Marion Thursday. They ate lunch at The Big Scoop. Later in the afternoon they went to Burns for flu shots.

Michele Boise and her nephew Zane visited Friday morning. They decorated a birthday cake.
