Don Gillet was a Wednesday morning visitor and dinner guest of LaVonne's.
Angela Bunger and Mitchell of Junction City and Amy Drake of Maple Grove, Minn., arrived Wednesday afternoon at Grandma LaVonne" to spend the day. They were supper guests and Stan Ammeter joined them. Mitchell and Uncle Stan went to the pasture to see the cows and Mitchell had a moo-ing good time. They went back to Junction City later in the evening.
Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Maude Gaines and my visitors attended.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne were in Marion Thursday for doctor's appointments. They ate lunch at The Big Scoop.
LaVonne visited at Legacy Park Friday afternoon. She visited Aunt Nonie Widler and they attended the monthly birthday party.
Friday evening visitors of LaVonne were Chris and Donna Ramsey, Alex and Ethan of Florence.
LaVonne attended church Sunday morning at Peabody United Methodist Church. Opal Craney and LaVonne ate lunch at Sharon's Korner Kitchen. Later in the afternoon I attended the ice cream social at the Burns Community Building hosted by the Ebenezer church. They had a good crowd and several couples from Trinity church in El Dorado attended. Good food and fellowship was enjoyed by all those present.
Shelly Harper of Inman picked Maude Gaines up Saturday morning and they went to Perry to the home of Jim and Sally Abel to spend the weekend. Sunday they all celebrated Hayden Robb's birthday at the home of Kim and Kevin Robb. Maude and Shelly returned home Monday afternoon.
Monday afternoon LaVonne went to Marion to get the ballots for the primary election. Michele Boese and Eric visited LaVonne late that evening.
Early Tuesday morning Joyce Kyle picked up LaVonne and they went to Burns Community Building to join Mary Glenn and Norma Clark to serve on the election board. They had a pretty good turnout for a primary from Burns and Milton. Summit voters were very few. LaVonne and Joyce took the ballots to Marion and traveled the new highway.
How about this hot weather? Wow!
Prayers and sympathy to the John Boese family in the loss of their father and grandpa.
