Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., arrived Friday at the Ammeter farm to spend the night.

Early Saturday morning Myron, Sally, LaVonne, and Opal Craney went to Wamego to the home of Chad and Angela Bunger and Mitchell. They were dinner guests and later in the afternoon celebrated Mitchell's first birthday.

Chad's family from Hildreth, Neb., also were there. Four grandparents and four great-grandparents were present. Of course Mitchell was the center of all this fun time.

Myron, Sally, Opal, and LaVonne stayed for supper, then returned home. Myron and Sally spent the night at Opal's.

Phyllis Slocombe and Michele Boise visited Tuesday with LaVonne.

LaVonne and Opal Craney attended Francis Skinner's funeral Wednesday afternoon.

Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Maude Gaines attended Ladies Aid Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's.

Carolyn Rowland visited LaVonne Wednesday evening and picked up cakes for her folks' 65th wedding anniversary.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne ate lunch Thursday at Peabody Senior Center.

Don Gillet and Stan Ammeter visited Thursday afternoon with LaVonne. Michele Boise visited in the evening.

LaVonne delivered the birthday cake to Legacy Park Friday and visited Aunt Leona Wilder, Bill and Shirley Krause, and several others.

Sunday morning we had church at Summit. Pastor Linda had a good sermon.

Gary Davis visited LaVonne after church. Maude Gaines and LaVonne went to Florence for dinner and then to Choir Fest at Trinity United Methodist Church at El Dorado. The singing was beautiful. Afterward they enjoyed homemade ice cream and desserts and visiting with relatives and friends.

Our deepest sympathy and prayers to the Skinner family. Frances was a dear lady, she will be missed.
