Ammeter news: Grandson s surgery is successful

Myron and Sally Ammeter called Monday afternoon to report Mitchell's surgery was over and it went well. Now for the long recovery. Please keep Mitchell, Chad, and Angela in your prayers.
Dorene Kirkpatrick and LaVonne were in El Dorado Tuesday for lunch and shopping.
Stan was a Tuesday supper guest of LaVonne.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne were in Marion Wednesday for appointments.
Michele Boise, Dylan and Eric were Thursday lunch guests of LaVonne. Chloe came later in the afternoon. They spent the day decorating cakes.
LaVonne attended the county board meeting and dinner Friday at Burns Community Building.
Joyce Kyle, Lois Sayers, and LaVonne attended the Bible school program Friday evening at Burns Methodist Church. Sure was a neat program.
Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived Saturday morning and went home late that evening. He and Stan spent the day mowing and spraying.
B.J. and Jodi Ammeter of Manhattan came Saturday afternoon to spend the weekend at Grandma's. Supper guests were Stan, Blaine, B.J., Jodi, Melissa Ramsey, and McKayla.
Bob and Kathryn Ireland of Newton visited in the afternoon.
B.J. and Jodi visited Saturday evening with Stan.
Gary Davis of Newton visited Sunday morning with LaVonne. Dinner guests were B.J., Jodi, Stan, and Josh Clark. B.J. and Jodi left for Manhattan late evening.
I talked to Angela Sunday morning and Mitchell is getting along OK.

I received an invitation to Joey and Charlene Gibson's 25th wedding anniversary reception Sunday afternoon in Newton at Military Park. Congratulations to Joe and Charlene.
