Ladies Aid met Wednesday at LaVonne's. Those attending included Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherry Nightengale, and Maude Gaines.

Sandi Fritz visited LaVonne early Thursday afternoon.

Late Thursday afternoon, LaVonne and Maude visited Aunt Nonie Widler and Jessie Bayes at Legacy Park.

Stan Ammeter was a Thursday and Friday supper guest of LaVonne's.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood came by the Ammeter farm Saturday morning on his way to Manhattan for the ball game and to join the rest of the gang for tailgating. Late Saturday evening, Blaine and B.J. and Jodi Ammeter of Overland Park came to spend the rest of the weekend and Labor Day.

Sunday and Monday dinner guests of LaVonne were Blaine, B.J., Jodi, and Stan Ammeter. They all went dove hunting. They left for home late Monday evening.

LaVonne and Maude were shopping Tuesday in Peabody.

Lois Sayers came home Tuesday after her back surgery. We wish her a good recovery.

We send sympathy and prayers to the Lyle Koehn family in the loss of their son.

We sure are enjoying the lovely weather. We still could use some rain.
