Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Maude Gaines attended.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne were shopping in Marion Friday. They ate lunch at The Big Scoop.

Don Gillet visited LaVonne Friday afternoon.

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., arrived late Friday evening at the Ammeter farm to spend the night. Early Saturday morning, Myron, Sally, and LaVonne went to pick up Opal Craney and they headed for Junction City to the home of Chad and Angela Bunger and Mitchell. We went to celebrate Angela's and Mitchell's birthdays. Chad's mom and dad and grandpa and sister, Crystal, arrived from Minden, Neb. We had lunch and Mitchell enjoyed his birthday cake I made and was so excited to blow out his two candles and open his presents. Sure makes a great-grandma proud.

Myron, Sally, Opal, and LaVonne stayed for super. They brought me home and then went on to Opal's to spend the night and went home Sunday afternoon.

LaVonne went to church at Ebenezer Sunday morning. Maude Gaines and LaVonne ate lunch at the Chuck Wagon in Florence and visited Elsie Tittle in the afternoon.

Stan Ammeter was a Sunday supper guest.

How about this cool weather? Sure was a nice rain we had, too. Don't forget to thank God for these blessings.
