LaVonne attended the funeral of Marvin Koehn Monday afternoon at Eden Mennonite Church. Marvin will be missed by many.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne went to senior citizens Tuesday at Burns Community Building. Margaret Morgan and her cousin gave a program we all enjoyed. Later Maude and LaVonne visited Marie and Ike Clark.
Betty and Glen Kyle and LaVonne attended the elementary Christmas program Tuesday evening at Brown gymnasium.
Michele Boise and Dylan visited LaVonne Wednesday morning.
Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherry Nightengale, and Maude Gaines met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon for Ladies Aid.
Wednesday evening LaVonne attended the preschool program in Peabody with Michele Boise, Dylan, and Eric. Sure was a neat program.
LaVonne went to Burns with Kerri and Tiana Wiebe Thursday morning and to Newton with Dorene Kirkpatrick in the afternoon for lunch and shopping.
LaVonne and Maude were shopping in Marion Friday.
Late Friday evening Eric and Kristin Magette of Salina arrived to spend Friday night and Saturday. We ate lunch at Burns Saturday. They left for home late afternoon.
Emily, Kevin, and Avery Haxton of Ellsworth arrived late Saturday afternoon for overnight and Sunday.
Dan and Kerrie Wiebe, Kenton, Taryn, Natalia, and Tiana visited LaVonne Saturday evening. The kids sang "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" to LaVonne and the Haxtons.
Emily, Kevin, and Avery attended church at Summit with Grandma LaVonne Sunday morning and after brunch they left for home. Oh, how I enjoyed that great-grandson!
Sunday Stan was a dinner guest. Afternoon visitors were Maude Gaines, Lisa Clark, and Mack and Bayleigh Clark.
Sunday morning I received word of the death of Robert Wyss of Onaga. We extend our deepest sympathy to the Wyss families. Also to the Marvin Koehn, Donnie Williams, and Hickman families.
