We did not have Ladies Aid this week because of the holiday.
Melody and Steve Magette of Dodge City arrived Wednesday evening at the Ammeter farm to spend Thanksgiving. Steve had to work Friday and Saturday so he went back but Melody stayed until Saturday afternoon.
Kevin and Emily Haxton and Avery of Ellsworth and Crystal and Adam Magette of Olathe arrived Thanksgiving morning. Dinner guests were Steve, Melody, Kevin, Emily, Avery, Crystal, Adam, and Stan Ammeter. The Haxtons stayed until Friday afternoon.
Eric and Krista Magette and Matthew of Eudora arrived Friday morning at the Ammeter farm. They stayed until after lunch Saturday. We awoke to snow and great-grandson Matthew had a ball playing in the snow. Matthew and Great-Grandma made snowman ice cream and he said it was "yummy." Oh, how I enjoyed Matthew and Avery.
Steve Magette came late Saturday afternoon to pick up Melody. We put up the Christmas tree.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines picked up Maude Gaines Thanksgiving morning and they went to Shelley Harper's at Inman. Other dinner guests were Ben Harper of Manhattan, Herb and Melinda Gaines of Cassoday, and Dusty Gaines of Wichita. Maude reports a good dinner and good time.
Blaine and Carol Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived late Saturday afternoon. Stan joined them for dinner Sunday. They returned home Sunday afternoon. They helped decorate the rest of the house.
Todd Ammeter called Sunday afternoon. The Gfeller family had their Thanksgiving at Camp Aldrick near Claflin on Thanksgiving Day.
I went to Peabody Monday afternoon and visited Aunt Nonie Widler, Emma Shaw, and Donna at Legacy Park. They played dominoes.
I picked up Maude Gaines Tuesday morning and we went to Marion for doctors' appointments and ate lunch at The Big Scoop and did some shopping.
Sally Metz visited Maude Gaines Sunday afternoon.
Prayers and get well wishes to Patsy Watkins and Kathleen Brenzikofer.
