Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Sherry and Dorene came to quilt.

I visited Maudie Thursday afternoon. She's doing better.

I visited Mrs. Scrivner Friday afternoon at Legacy Park.

Don Gillet visited LaVonne Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., arrived Saturday at the Ammeter farm and were my overnight guests. They had been at the K-State football game and visited Angela and Chad and Mitchell at Junction City.

Sunday dinner guest at LaVonne's were Myron and Sally and Stan. They went to Opal Craney's that afternoon to spend the night and Monday.

Michele Montgomery stopped by Monday and I went to Maudie's in the afternoon.

Shelly Harper of Inman spent Saturday afternoon and Sunday with her mom, Maudie Gaines.

I picked up Maudie and we went to Marion Tuesday morning for doctor's appointments. We ate lunch at The Big Scoop and came back to Peabody to get peppernuts at the senior center. Wow! Are they good.

Prayers and sympathy to Edythe (Wolfersperger) Holub in the loss of her husband.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and a great week. We have so much to be thankful for.

I went to the Peabody Senior Center Thursday for dinner and to help make peppernuts. Good food and fellowship.

Blaine Ammeter and Todd Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived Friday evening at the Ammeter farm to spend the weekend and Monday. B.J. of Gardner came later in the evening to visit and go hunting. Stan Ammeter joined them later in the evening.

Shelly Harper of rural Inman brought Maude Gaines home from the hospital Thursday afternoon and stayed until Sunday evening.

The hunters gathered Saturday at Maude Gaines' home and had a family dinner at noon. Those attending were Shelly Harper of Inman, Sally and Jim Abel of Perry, Jena Ann Gaines of Holton, Vicki and Dick Gantz and boys of Perry, Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Dusty Gaines of Wichita, and Ty Gaines of Madison, Ben Harper of Manhattan, and Zach Harper of Lawrence.

Saturday dinner guests of LaVonne were the hunters, Stan Ammeter, Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood, Todd Ammeter, B.J. ammeter of Gardner, Bob Hartnagel and Michele Montgomery of Florence, John Boese and his friend and Darrell Johnson of Wichita. A lot of walking but not many birds.

We had church Sunday at Summit. Pastor Ragland had his good message as usual.

Sunday dinner guests of LaVonne were Gary Davis of Newton, Blaine, B.J., and Todd.

I visited Maude Gaines Monday afternoon. She is doing fair. We went to Marion to the doctor Thursday afternoon.

B.J. and Todd and Blaine returned to their homes Monday afternoon.

The Gaines family had their early Thanksgiving get-together Sunday at Herb and Melinda Gaines at rural Cassoday.

We extend sympathy and prayers to the Mellott family in the loss of their loved one. He will be missed.
