Ladies Aid quilted at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Sherry, Maude, and Dorene attended.
Maude and LaVonne were in Peabody Thursday.
Hunting season opened Saturday. Blaine Ammeter and Todd Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived late Friday to spend the weekend. Stan was an evening visitor.
Saturday luncheon guests of LaVonne were Blaine, Todd, and Stan Ammeter, John Boese, Bob Hartnagel and Darrell, and Michelle Montgomery.
Sunday we had church at Summit. Pastor David had an extra good message.
Stan, Blaine, Todd, and John Boese hunted all morning and were lunch guests at LaVonne's. Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., arrived mid-morning and also were dinner guests.
LaVonne and Maude attended the monthly potluck dinner at Burns Community Building Tuesday. There was a good crowd, good food, and two interesting programs.
Late Tuesday afternoon Maude and LaVonne visited Ike and Marie Clark.
Maude Gaines had hunters arrive Saturday morning. Luncheon guests were Sally and Jim Abel, Vicki and Dick Gantz, William, Cory, Alison, and Kevin, Kim, Hayden, and Trent Robb of Perry; Jean Gaines of Holton; Dusty Gaines of Wichita; Shelly Harper of Inman; Zack Harper of Lawrence; Ben Harper of Manhattan; and Ronnie Gaines. The men spent the day hunting.
Sunday all of the above went to Herb and Melinda Gaines' rural Cassoday home for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner. Others joining them were Patti Gaines and Kim, Ty, and Brooke Gaines of Madison.
