Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Maude Gaines attended.

We had our annual soup supper and administrative board meeting Wednesday evening at Summit church. Good soup and good fellowship. Those attending were LaVonne Ammeter, Maude Gaines, Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Jeff and Cindy Holt, Dorene and Ron Kirkpatrick, Sherry and Marvin Nightengale, and Pastor and Mrs. David Ragland.

Maude and LaVonne were shopping Friday morning in Marion and Hillsboro. In the afternoon they visited Aunt Leona Widler and Jessie Bayes at Legacy Park.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived late Friday night at the Ammeter farm to spend the weekend. Saturday morning he went to spend the day at Don and Marge Gfeller's. Carol had been helping her folks. Saturday night, Carol and Blaine came back to LaVonne's to spend the night and Sunday.

Stan Ammeter and Blaine Ammeter were dinner guests of LaVonne Sunday. Carol went on back to Ellinwood late that morning.

LaVonne and Maude attended a birthday party for Autumn Padgett Sunday afternoon at the home of her grandparents. Lois and Lawrence Sayers and Joyce Kyle picked up LaVonne and Maude to go with them. Autumn is the daughter of Jim and Sarah Padgett.

Joyce Kyle, Mary Glenn, and LaVonne attended election school Monday afternoon at Marion County Lake.

Tom and Lisa Clark hosted a horse training seminar Saturday at their farm.

Tuesday was election day. Joyce Kyle, Mary Glenn, and LaVonne worked the election board. We had a good turnout from Milton and Summit townships. Sure am glad we won't have to listen to the candidates on TV anymore.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Kathleen Brenzikofer for a speedy recovery from her surgery. Hope you'll soon be home.
