Betty and Glen Kyle picked up LaVonne Tuesday evening and they attended the club wiener roast at the Virgil Clark home. It was an old-fashioned wiener roast and everyone enjoyed the evening.
LaVonne visited Donella and Ron Humphries Monday in Florence. Later Maude Gaines and LaVonne went to Burns to get flu shots.
Michele Boise and Dylan were visitors Tuesday afternoon of LaVonne to make flowers. Don Gillet and Stan Ammeter also were visitors.
Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Those attending were Leona Widler, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherry Nightengale, and Maude Gaines.
LaVonne visited at Legacy Park Friday morning and delivered the birthday cake.
LaVonne and Betty Kyle attended the Halloween parade Friday afternoon at Peabody Elementary School. Sure were a lot of neat costumes.
Maude and LaVonne went to Burns Friday for lunch at Burns Café and viewed the Kansas Wheat Weaving display at the Prairie Arts building. If you have a spare afternoon it's worth going to see.
Laura Moon of Newton and Carol Ammeter of Ellinwood came to LaVonne's Saturday evening and they went to El Dorado to the wedding reception and dance for Jacki Snelling and John Beeman. Congratulations to the lovely couple.
Kerrie Wiebe brought Natalia, Tiana, Taryn, and Kenton to LaVonne's Saturday afternoon for trick-or-treating and then went to Newton.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne went to Ebenezer Sunday morning for church. They went to Marion to Mary Olson's for lunch. The Rev. Chuck and Janet Hadley of Wichita also were guests. Chuck was preacher at Summit more than 20 years ago so we all took a stroll down memory lane.
LaVonne had lots of trick-or-treaters Sunday evening. I always enjoy them so! Maude Gaines also had a bunch.
I hope you all have a good week and I hope you all voted!
