Ladies Aid met at LaVonne Ammeter's home Wednesday afternoon. Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Maude Gaines were in attendance.
Myron Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., arrived late Wednesday evening to spend the night.
Myron and LaVonne picked up Opal Craney Thursday morning and headed for Junction City to pick up Angela and Mitchell. The group ate lunch together. Oh, what fun with Mitchell. After lunch we left for Grand Island to spend the rest of the week and weekend. Sally came from her meeting in Omaha and Amy and Doug arrived later in the evening from Maple Grove, Minn.
Blaine and Carol Ammeter of Ellinwood, Melody Magette of Dodge City, and Emily Haxton of Ellsworth arrived at the Myron Ammeter home Saturday morning for dinner and attended a layette shower for Amy and Doug. The baby is due in January. Their great-grandmother is so excited. The shower was at Myron and Sally's. There was a good turnout and she received many nice things. Chad Burger arrived from Junction City late Friday evening.
Blaine, Carol, Opal, LaVonne, Emily, and Melody left for Kansas late Saturday afternoon. Blaine and Carol spent the night and Sunday at the Ammeter farm. They went later Sunday to spend the afternoon at Don and Marjorie Gfeller's.
Joyce picked up LaVonne Monday afternoon and they attended Twentieth Century Club at Rhonda Brenzikofer's.
Blaine Ammeter arrived at the Ammeter farm Tuesday evening to spend the night and take LaVonne to Wichita for a doctor's appointment.
