Carolyn Metz and LaVonne spent Wednesday with Amber and Cory Morgan and Alexia, Adria, and C.J. at Great Bend. We ate lunch and supper with the Morgans. Becky joined us for supper. Carolyn and I went back to Blaine and Carol's and spent Wednesday night. We left for home Thursday morning after breakfast. We had a good visit both places.

Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, and LaVonne went to Legacy Park at Peabody Friday afternoon for the birthday party for Aunt Nonie Widler, who celebrated 103 years. Attending were Sherry, Maude, LaVonne, Joyce Kyle, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Betty Wagoner, Bonnie Richards, and Dorene Kirkpatrick. Had such a good time visiting and birthday cake and ice cream were served.

Melody Magette of Dodge City arrived Saturday afternoon at the Ammeter farm to spend the weekend. We baked, washed windows, and pulled weeds all afternoon. Late in the afternoon we went to Boeses to wish Eric happy birthday and visit a little while.

We had church Sunday morning at Summit. Pastor Dave had a real good message.

Dinner guests of LaVonne's were Melody and Stan Ammeter. Melody left for home late in the afternoon. Such a windy day.

Ronnie and Patti Gaines took Maude Gaines to the hospital at Marion Monday morning. Shelly Harper at Inman visited Maude Monday evening and so did Ronnie and Patti.

LaVonne went to Marion for a doctor's appointment Tuesday morning and visited Maude Gaines at St. Luke Hospital. She's doing OK. Then I went to Wee Little Acres up by Durham to get peaches. It really rained on me on the way back to Peabody.

I received word Monday morning my cousin Leone Kellum had died. She lived in Winfield for a long time after Bink died. They lived in the Summit community for years.
