LaVonne went to Newton Friday morning to the home of Kathryn Ireland. They went to Wichita to Carolyn and Jack's where they were overnight guests.
Saturday morning we all got ready for Carolyn's quilt show. We really had fun getting ready. At nine o'clock the people began to arrive at her quilting shop. So many pretty quilts were viewed. Carolyn's friends, Pat and Beverly, helped us, too. It was over at 4 p.m. and 274 people had been there from 9 to 4. Kathryn and I came back to Newton and I came home. Sure was a fun two days.
LaVonne went to Marion Wednesday afternoon to see Dr. Beck.
Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Sherry, Dorene, and Maude attended.
Michele Boese visited Monday morning with LaVonne.
B.J. Ammeter of Gardner came to the Ammeter farm Friday evening and stayed until Monday evening. Stan Ammeter joined us for dinner Saturday. They did some hunting and fishing. Blaine and Todd Ammeter arrived at the Ammeter farm Sunday and stayed until Monday evening. I sure did enjoy having them. We made homemade ice cream and enjoyed Todd's pup, Skeeter.
The roofer arrived Monday morning to put a new roof on the house so it was sure noisy in the house. They got the whole roof done. Quite a hard-working crew.
Dan Wiebe, Natalie, Taryn, Kenton, and Tiana visited LaVonne and B.J. late Monday afternoon.
John Boese and Dylan visited LaVonne and company Sunday afternoon.
Hope you all have a good week.
