Mildred Buller, Marge Gray, LaVonne Ammeter, and Maude Gaines did mending Monday for Legacy Park residents.
LaVonne's visitors Monday were Michele Boise, Dylan and Eric, Josh Clark, and Peggy Hollowell and girl.
Lisa Clark visited Tuesday evening.
Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Those quilting were Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherry Nightengale, and Maude Gaines. Late afternoon visitors were Michele Boise, Dylan, Chloe, and Eric.
LaVonne was in Marion Thursday morning and in the afternoon she and Maude picked up peaches in Durham. They visited Opal Craney and Mildred Buller on the way home.
LaVonne visited at Legacy Park Friday morning and delivered a birthday cake.
Betty and Glenn Kyle and LaVonne went to Marion Saturday to watch the Old Settlers' Day parade.
Steve and Melody Magette of Greensburg spent the night Saturday. Sunday morning they and LaVonne went to Clifton for the baptism of that precious little great-granddaughter, Bethany Erin, daughter of Amanda and Bryan Kantack of Colorado Springs, Colo., and granddaughter of Steve and Melody Magette. The celebration included a luncheon at the Catholic church prior to the baptism and a reception following the ceremony.
Steve and Melody brought LaVonne back home and were supper guests. What a day! Sure makes a grandma proud!
LaVonne talked to Angela and Chad Bunger Sunday evening and great-grandson Mitchell Lee is doing fine.
The community extends sympathy and prayers to the relatives of Gary Kirkpatrick.
