Chloe and Eric visited LaVonne Monday evening. Don Gillet and Stan Ammeter were later visitors.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne were in Newton Tuesday for appointments and lunch.
Gene Obee and LaVonne went to Newton Wednesday morning to the Hazel Ireland visitation at Broadway Mortuary followed by lunch with the family and graveside services at Potwin McGill Cemetery. Hazel was Bob and Kathryn Ireland's mother.
Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Attending were Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, and Dorene Kirkpatrick.
Carolyn Holm was an overnight guest Wednesday of LaVonne.
Wednesday evening visitors were Michele Boise, Dylan, Chloe, and Eric, Kerrie Wiebe, Taryn and Kenton, and Stan Ammeter.
Thursday Carolyn and LaVonne went to Great Bend to visit Amber, Cory, Alexis, and Adria Morgan. On the way home they visited Blaine and Carol Ammeter at Ellinwood. After supper Carolyn left for Wichita.
Myron and Sally Ammeter called Thursday morning to tell Great-Grandma LaVonne Mitchell Lee had arrived weighing 10 pounds 1 ounce. Wow! Mother Angela, Daddy Chad, and baby are doing fine.
Grandma Sally and Grandpa Myron are proud — two grandsons in six days. Great-Grandma Opal and LaVonne also are proud. They all went to Wamego Saturday to see Mitchell. He's really a big, little guy! Myron brought Opal and LaVonne home late Saturday evening.
We had church at Summit Sunday morning. Pastor Linda had a really good sermon.
LaVonne and Maude Gaines ate lunch Sunday in Florence with Arlene Wilber of El Dorado and Norma Widler of Marion. They visited Elsie Tittle after lunch.
Later they went to El Dorado to Trinity Methodist Church to a patriotic concert by the choir. It was an outstanding performance, after which they had an ice cream social.
Michele Boise visited LaVonne Sunday evening.
LaVonne talked to Chuck and Janet Hadley in Wichita who are celebrating 50 years. Chuck came to Summit church as a student minister and he and Janet were married while he was serving Summit.
