Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Sherry, Maude, and Dorene attended.

Blaine and Stan mowed all day Wednesday. Blaine went to Don and Mary Gfeller's in the afternoon. Stan was a supper guest. We made homemade ice cream. Blaine left for Ellinwood late that evening and got caught in the rain at Hesston.

LaVonne and Maude went to Peabody Senior Center Friday for lunch. In the afternoon they visited at Legacy Park. They visited Aunt Nonie, Emma Shaw, and Jessie Bayes.

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., arrived late Friday evening at the Ammeter farm to spend the weekend.

Sally, Myron, and LaVonne picked up Sally's mom, Opal Craney and went to Marion and Durham Saturday morning to get peaches. Boy, are they good. We came back to Peabody and ate lunch at Sharon's Korner Kitchen.

Stan Ammeter and Myron and Sally were Saturday supper guests of LaVonne. They made homemade ice cream. Yum! Michele Boese was a late evening visitor.

Sunday morning, Myron and Sally went to Opal's to spend the night. They were in McPherson Saturday and left for home late Sunday.

Lois Sayers and Coleen Brunner visited LaVonne Saturday evening and picked up their peaches.

LaVonne and Maude ate lunch Sunday at Town & Country Café in Florence. In the afternoon they visited Elsie Tittle.

LaVonne and Dorene Kirkpatrick went to Marion for business and shopping Monday. They ate lunch at the Chuck Wagon in Florence. They got to visit with granddaughter, Donna Ramsey, Isaac, Ethan, and Alex at the café.

Maude and LaVonne went to Marion Tuesday for doctors' appointments. They attended the monthly senior citizens dinner at the Burns Community Building. Had good food and we played card bingo. Sure was fun.

Stan was a Tuesday evening supper guest.

Sure has been hot. I'm ready for a cool down. Stay cool.
