I went to Newton Sunday after church to have dinner with Kathryn and Bob Ireland's family. Chris and Kerri Melson of Claude, Texas, were there and Chris's two daughters, Sarah of Goutier, Miss., and Dana Jo of Las Vegas, Susan and John and Shirley and friend, all of Wichita, Bryan Hess and River of El Dorado, Gene Obee, Stanley and Cherol Smith and Don Obee of Emporia, and Kathryn and Bob's minister and wife. We really had a good time visiting and taking pictures. I did so enjoy seeing Sarah and Dana Jo.

Michele Boese visited LaVonne late Wednesday evening.

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Maude, Dorene, and Sherry came and Sandi Fritz came later in the afternoon.

LaVonne visited with Sandra Heyman and Harold and Naomi Brenzikofer at Stick & Twigs in Burns Thursday afternoon.

Marie Clark visited Maude Gaines Thursday morning.

Joyce Kyle picked up LaVonne and Lois and Lawrence Sayers Saturday afternoon and they went to Burns Community Building to help Ivan and Margaret Morgan celebrate 60 years. Wow! Had a lovely celebration.

Eric Boese visited LaVonne Saturday evening.

We had church Sunday at Summit. Had communion and Pastor David had a real good sermon. They're all good but this one was extra good.

Kerri and Dan Wiebe, Natalia, Taryn, Kenton, and Tiana visited LaVonne late Sunday afternoon.

Stan Ammeter was a Monday visitor and mowed all afternoon.

LaVonne and Maude were in Marion Tuesday for doctors' appointments and shopping. We ate lunch at The Big Scoop.

Blaine Ammeter arrived late Monday evening to spend the night and Wednesday. Oh, do I have some sonny-do-jobs!

Hope you all have a good week. Stay in. Stay cool.
