LaVonne was shopping Wednesday morning in Marion.

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Maude, Dorene, and Sherry attended.

Maude and LaVonne ate lunch Friday at the senior center in Peabody. It was the birthday lunch. Had a really good turn-out and good food.

LaVonne delivered the birthday cake to Legacy Park Friday. I attended graveside services for Fred Waymier at Prairie Lawn.

Myron and Sally arrived late Friday evening at the Ammeter farm to spend the night and Saturday. We visited Ebenezer and Summit cemeteries Saturday. Stan joined us for lunch. Carolyn Holm visited later in the afternoon. Myron and Sally left to go to Sally's mother's, Opal Craney when Don and Marjorie picked up LaVonne to go to Marion to the 1948-49-50 class reunion.

The classes of 1948-49-50 held their class reunion at Valley United Methodist Church fellowship hall. Don and Marjorie Gfeller, Edith Langenegger, and LaVonne attended. We had a lovely supper and lots of visiting and picture-taking. Everyone had a good time. There were 25 in attendance. Carolyn Holm brought LaVonne home and spent Saturday night at the Ammeter farm.

Joyce Barker of El Dorado visited Maude Saturday.

Bill and Marie Clark and Sonny and Joan Clark of El Dorado were Monday afternoon visitors of Maude Gaines.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne attended the Burns Alumni Reunion at the community center in Burns. Sure was a good gathering of alumni. Had a very good meal and a good meeting. The committee that put it together really deserves a big thank you. They did a really fine job. Those ho didn't come sure missed a good time.

Monday morning, Carolyn and Jack Metz of Wichita came to pick up LaVonne and they ate lunch at the Brown building in Peabody at the Memorial Day dinner. After dinner they went on the barn tour. It was so interesting and so much fun. There were three school buses plus some following in pickups and cars. We visited eight old barns. The committee that put the tour together deserves a big thank you.

I hope all of your remembered our service men and women in prayers.
