A new great-grandchild, Collin Riley was born at 4:34 p.m. Thursday to Chad and Angela Bunger. He weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. Mitchell is so excited to be a big brother! Angela got along OK but later in the week the baby had a time with several problems. At this writing he is better. I have pictures and he is a cutie.
I went to Marion Thursday morning for physical therapy. In the afternoon, Michele Boese and Chloe went to Peabody with me. We stopped by Maudie's on the way home.
George Ducomin of Valley Center met LaVonne and Stan at Summit Cemetery to find a grave plot. Sure did enjoy visiting with him.
David Carlisle of Texas and Ralph Carlisle of El Dorado stopped by Friday afternoon to visit. Sure did enjoy visiting with them. Surprise visitors like that are always great! They had been to Whitewater Cemetery. They got to visit there with Loyd Brewer.
Late Friday afternoon Willard Larsen of Wichita came by to visit me. Sure did enjoy his visit. We walked down Memory Lane.

Melody and I went in early and the rest came in time for dinner. Our family really turned out good. Eric and Kristin and Matthew, Emily, Kevin, and Avery, Stan, Melody and Steve, Blaine and Carol, Todd, B.J. and Jodie, Myron and Sally and Mitchell. Sherwin would have been so proud. We had a lovely dinner, catered by Arletta Koehn. After dinner we had introductions by each family present. What a good day and the weather was great.
Melody and Steve came back to the farm and stayed until late afternoon. Blaine and Carol came later that evening from the wedding reception in Wichita and stayed all night. Monday morning, they went to Don and Marjorie Gfeller's.
Blaine and Todd stopped by late in the afternoon and Stan came to visit with them. They were late dinner guests.
Shelly Harper picked up Maudie Gaines Saturday morning and they went to Perry to Sally and Jim Abel's to spend Saturday and Sunday nights. They celebrated Zach Harper's birthday. Maudie returned home Monday afternoon.
How about this weather? We've had a lot of rain but feel lucky we missed the real bad weather.
