LaVonne and Jack and Carolyn Metz of Wichita went Saturday to Topeka. Carolyn and LaVonne attended a Quilt Guild meeting and luncheon. After the meeting they went to Wamego to attend the Tulip Festival. They visited many vendors in the park and viewed beautiful tulips all over town. On Sunday they visited the Wizard of Oz Museum, a quilt show at the senior center, and more of the Tulip Festival.
LaVonne's granddaughter, Angela Bunger, and her husband Chad live in Wamego, where Chad is head of the chamber of commerce. The chamber sponsored the Tulip Festival.
Sunday afternoon Carolyn and Jack brought LaVonne home.
LaVonne went to Newton Tuesday to help Kathy Ireland paper her kitchen. Carolyn Holm joined them in the afternoon.
Maude Gaines was a dinner guest of Sonny and Joannie Clark Tuesday in El Dorado.
Don Gillet visited LaVonne Wednesday morning and Sunday evening.
Leona Widler, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Maude Gaines, and Sherry Nightengale attended Ladies Aid Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's.
Maude and LaVonne went to Peabody Thursday afternoon for business and shopping. Michele Montgomery and Bob Hartnagel visited in the evening.
Gary Davis of Newton and his nephew visited LaVonne Friday.
Ty Frederickson and Stan Ammeter visited Saturday morning.
Don Gillet was a dinner guest Sunday of Brenda and Dennis Riggs and boys, an afternoon visitor of Pat and Janet Post.
