Dorene Kirkpatrick, Maude Gaines, and LaVonne Ammeter were in Marion Monday for business, lunch, and shopping.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived Monday evening to spend the night and go to Aunt Lee Bell's funeral.

Also attending the funeral were Jack and Carolyn Metz of Wichita and Melody Magette of Greensburg. After the funeral in El Dorado and burial at Ebenezer Cemetery all the relatives gathered for lunch and visiting in Burns. Blaine and Melody returned to their homes late evening.

Shelly Harper of Inman visited her mother Maude Gaines Tuesday and they ate lunch in Burns.

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Those attending were Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Maude Gaines, and Sherry's daughter Kathy Foote of Manhattan and granddaughter Laura Nightengale of El Dorado.

LaVonne's niece Mary Sue Mayfield called from Williamsburg, Tenn., with belated birthday wishes.

LaVonne and Maude shopped Thursday in Marion, had lunch in Florence, and visited with Michele Montgomery.

On Friday they visited Ike Clark at WheatState Manor.

John and Dylan Boise visited LaVonne Friday evening.

Tom and Lisa Clark and LaVonne went antiquing at White City and Council Grove Saturday and visited the former depot at Council Grove.

Stan visited LaVonne Saturday evening.

Sunday LaVonne and Maude attended the Christian church in Florence and visited Elsie Tittle in the afternoon.

LaVonne attended the supper at the Methodist church in Burns Sunday evening.
