Dan Gillet visited Monday and Wednesday with LaVonne. Josh Clark also visited LaVonne Monday.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne went to El Dorado Tuesday for an appointment. They visited Bill and Marie Clark. Other visitors were Bonnie Richard, Sonny and Joannie Clark, and Michele Banks. Later they went shopping.
Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood went to the Ammeter farm Tuesday to spend the night through Wednesday. He did lots of "sonny-do" jobs for LaVonne.
LaVonne visited Rebecca Gillet Wednesday morning in Peabody.
Joyce Baker of Wichita came to Maude Gaines' home Wednesday morning. Sally Matz of Peabody joined them and they went to the Burns Café to celebrate Maude's birthday. Sherry and Marvin Nightengale also joined them.
Betty and Robin Kyle visited Lavonne and Melody Saturday afternoon.
Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday. Those quilting were Joyce Barker, Sally Matz, Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Maude Gaines.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne visited Ike Clark Thursday afternoon at WheatState Manor in Whitewater. We had a nice visit.
Melody Mazette of Greensburg arrived Friday morning at LaVonne's. They went to El Dorado to order LaVonne's glasses. They ate lunch and shopped. Melody left for Greensburg Saturday afternoon. They celebrated LaVonne's birthday early.
Chad and Angela Bunger arrived late Saturday afternoon at the Ammeter farm to spend the weekend. Later, Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island came to spend the night and Sunday. Stan Ammeter joined them for supper.
Chad and Angela Bunger and Myron and Sally Ammeter went to church Sunday morning at Summit with LaVonne. Dinner guests were Chad and Angela, Myron, Sally, and Stan. They celebrated LaVonne's birthday. Later in the afternoon, Opal Craney came to LaVonne's to visit. Other visitors were Kathy and Jim Holm, Bayleigh and Carlie of Wichita.
Blaine and Carol Ammeter of Ellinwood, Melody Magette of Greensburg, and Amanda Kantack of Colorado Springs called Sunday evening on LaVonne to wish her "Happy Birthday."
Michele Boise visited LaVonne Sunday evening.
I received word Friday from Tennessee that Aunt Lee Bell had died. Jean Winger of El Dorado called with details.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines were Saturday dinner guests of Mark Gaines.
