Maude Gaines and LaVonne Ammeter visited Ike Clark Monday afternoon at the Whitewater nursing home.

Michele Boise visited LaVonne Monday evening.

LaVonne and Maude Gaines attended the senior citizens' dinner Tuesday at the Burns Community Building. They enjoyed good food and a good program.

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Those attending were Maude Gaines, Dorine Kirkpatrick, and Leona Widler.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne were in Marion Thursday for business and lunch.

LaVonne left Friday morning for Ellinwood to spend the weekend with Blaine and Carol Ammeter. I shopped in Lyons on the way. Later that afternoon, B.J. Ammeter, Jodi Wulf, and Todd Ammeter of Manhattan arrived in Ellinwood to spend the weekend. The big occasion was a Saturday afternoon bridal shower for Jodi and B.J.

Blaine and Carol Ammeter had a Saturday luncheon at their home for family members of the bride and groom. Those attending were honored guests, B.J. and Jodi, Jodi's parents, Donna and Wayne Wulf of Cimmaron, Jennifer Wulf of Manhattan, Melody Magette of Greesnburg, Emily Haxton of Ellsworth, Angela Bunger of Wamego, Kristin Magette of Salina, Netti Belle Graham of Hesston, Ruth Wright and Vonnie Gfeller of Peabody, Laura Moore of Newton, Grandma Marjorie Gfeller, Grandma LaVonne Ammeter of Burns, and Todd Ammeter of Manhattan.

Everyone attended the bridal shower Saturday afternoon for Jodi and B.J. at the Ellinwood Methodist church. They received many nice gifts.

LaVonne attended church with Carol and Blaine Ammeter Sunday morning and spent the rest of the day before returning home late Sunday evening.

Stan Ammeter was a Sunday evening visitor of LaVonne's.

Maude Gaines attended the 40th anniversary celebration for Jim and Sally Abel Sunday afternoon in Perry. They also celebrated Maude's birthday Sunday noon at dinner.
