Bryan and Amanda Kantack and Bethany of Colorado Springs arrived Wednesday morning at the Ammeter farm. Later in the afternoon, Eric and Kristin Magette and Matthew of Eudora arrived to spend the night and Thursday. Stan Ammeter joined them for supper and dinner Thursday. They all left Thursday after lunch for Dodge City to spend the rest of the week with Steve and Melody Magette. Sure did enjoy them and especially the great-grandchildren. This ended my Christmas.
I took the birthday cake to Legacy Park and Maude and I ate lunch at the senior center in Peabody. Good food and visiting.
LaVonne attended church and Sunday school Sunday at Ebenezer church.
Monday all I did was answer the telephone. All the grandchildren called and my niece, Mary Sue called from Virginia. Myron, Melody, and Blaine all called too.
LaVonne and Maude visited Aunt Nonie and Jessie Bayes Tuesday at Legacy Park.
Aren't you glad you don't live in western Kansas or Colorado or Nebraska? Feel so sorry for those folks.
We extend our sympathy and prayers to the Dallke family in the loss of their two loved ones.
Happy 2007 to all.
