Thursday afternoon Stan and I went shopping in El Dorado.
Saturday morning in that blizzard Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., and Angela, Chad, and Mitchell Bunger arrived. Steve and Melody Magette of Dodge City later joined the group to spend the night. Stan joined us for supper.
We had our Christmas that evening. Chad, Angela, and Mitchell went back home late evening. Such a day. Roads were not good and I couldn't see the church when they all arrived.
Sunday morning church services were canceled. The morning was spent scooping snow. Ty and Marcie Frederickson and Giles came to spend the morning. Stan came after breakfast.
Dinner guests were Stan, Myron, Sally, Steve, and Melody. Afternoon visitors were John Boese, Dylan and Eric. Myron and Sally left late afternoon to go spend the night at Sally's mom's. The Magettes left for Dodge City.
Monday morning Ty, Marcie, and Giles visited and then went to Holton to spend Christmas with Marcie's family.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Ty, Kim, and Brooke Gaines of Madison, and Dusty Gaines of Wichita visited Maude Gaines Monday morning.
Jack and Carolyn Metz of Wichita arrived Monday morning. We ate lunch at the Chuck Wagon in Florence and then visited Laura Branham at Marion Manor.
When we got back home Mary Sue and Mike Mayfield had arrived from Lexington, Va., to spend the night. Kathryn Ireland of Newton had come while we were gone. Stan joined the group for supper.
Mike and Mary Sue left for Manhattan Christmas morning to visit Mike's sister and family.
Christmas Day afternoon Blaine and Carol Ammeter of Ellinwood, Todd Ammeter of rural Claflin, and B. J. and Jodi Ammeter of Gardner arrived.
Later Stan Ammeter, Melissa Ramsey and McKayla, Lee Shipman, Donna and Chris Ramsey, Ethan, Alex, and Isaac came for Christmas supper. We had a good time. Todd spent the night and Wednesday. We always have soup and sandwiches and lots of goodies.
Dan and Kerri Wiebe and Natalia, Taryn, Tiana, and Kenton came caroling Christmas Eve.
Sally Matz picked Maudie up late Thursday morning. They went to Burns to dinner at Arleta's with the brothers and sisters.
We hope you all had a Merry Christmas with friends and family and hope we all remember Jesus is the reason for the season!
