Ammeter mews: Ladies go to Durham for peaches

Maude Gaines and LaVonne went to Durham to Wee Little Acres to get peaches.

Michele Boise visited LaVonne Monday evening.

Maude and LaVonne went Tuesday to the senior center in Burns for dinner.

Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday. Attending were Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Maude Gaines.

Michelle Boise, Dylan, and her niece April and nephew Alex visited Thursday evening with LaVonne.

Josh Clark visited LaVonne Friday evening.

LaVonne visited Betty Kyle Saturday afternoon at Newton Medical Center. Betty is getting along better. Keep her in your prayers.

Michele Montgomery of Florence visited LaVonne Saturday evening.

Gary Davis of Newton visited LaVonne after church Sunday and they went to Florence for lunch.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne attended the open house celebrating Don and Twylah Nightengale's 50th wedding anniversary. It was a lovely celebration with lots of family and friends attending. Later LaVonne and Maude visited Ike and Marie Clark.

Elsie Tittle of Florence and Ed Roberts and his friend of California and LaVonne Ammeter visited Sunday afternoon with Maude Gaines.

Maude and LaVonne were in Marion Monday shopping. They ate lunch in Peabody.

LaVonne went to the John Boise home Monday evening for Eric's birthday. Others helping Eric celebrate were Stan Ammeter, Bob Hartnagel, and Michele Montgomery of Florence.

Carolyn Metz, Rebecca Holm, and LaVonne went Tuesday morning to Great Bend to visit Amber and Cory Morgan, Alexis and Adria. They took the girls shopping and celebrated Alexis' fifth birthday. After supper Great-Grandma Carolyn, Grandma Becky, and Aunt LaVonne really enjoyed the two girls. Carolyn and LaVonne went on to Ellinwood and spent the night at the home of Blaine Ammeter.

Carolyn brought LaVonne home Wednesday and spent the day. She and Stan Ammeter were supper guests.

Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Maude Gaines attended Ladies Aid at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Carolyn Metz was a guest.
