Ammeter hopes for rain, cooler temps

It sure has been a hot week. Hopefully there will be some cooler weather this week and maybe some rain!

Monday evening visitors of LaVonne were Mac and Bayleigh Clark and Kaitlin Nelson.

LaVonne was in Marion on business Tuesday afternoon.

Ladies aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Those attending were Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, Marie Clark, and Bayleigh Clark.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived at the Ammeter farm Wednesday evening to spend the night. Stan Ammeter was an evening visitor. Later evening visitors were Josh Clark and his friend, Renea of Hillsboro.

LaVonne went to Peabody to the Bible Church Wednesday evening with Lawrence and Lois Sayers to watch Jessica and Megan run their cars. It sure was a fun time. Both won trophies.

Dorene Kirkpatrick and Lavonne Ammeter worked in Peabody on Thursday.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne spent Friday in Marion. They had doctors' appointments, did some shopping, and ate lunch at Pizza Hut.

Don Gillet visited LaVonne on Saturday.

LaVonne Ammeter and Maude Gaines attended church Sunday at Whitewater Center. They ate lunch at the Chuck Wagon Café in Florence with Geneva Wilder of Marion and Arlene Wilbur of El Dorado. They visited at the home of Elsie Tittle in the afternoon.

LaVonne was a Sunday supper guest of Tom and Lisa Clark. Other guests were Josh Clark and his friend, Renea, Lisa and Brian McDowell and Alex, and Keith McDowell, Brian's dad, from Bentonville, Ark.

Angela Bunger called her Grandma LaVonne Sunday night to make plans for their trip to Charleston, S.C., to visit Rob and Christie Ammeter and great-granddaughter, Samantha.
