Ammeter family: has Memorial Day dinner

Memorial Day dinner guests and visitors of LaVonne Ammeter were Melody and Steve Magette, Eric and Kristin Magette, and Amanda and Bryan Kantuck. All visited the Ebenezer and Summit cemeteries and toured the flower garden of Kenneth and Arleta Koehn in Burns. What a beautiful garden!
Early Monday evening LaVonne went home with Melody and Steve to spend a few days in Greensburg. Melody and LaVonne shopped in Great Bend Wednesday afternoon and visited Carol Ammeter in Ellinwood, going on to Ellsworth to visit Emily and Kevin Haxton. They were overnight guests and Thursday took wallpaper off the room to be the nursery. They headed back to Greensburg late afternoon.
Melody brought LaVonne home Friday. They ate dinner at the Dutch Kitchen in Hutchinson and toured the Stutzman Greenhouse. Wow, what a place. I found my hibiscus and some other flowers. Melody returned to Greensburg late afternoon.
LaVonne went to Marion Saturday on business and also did some shopping. Maude Gaines visited late in the afternoon.
Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Attending were Leona Widler, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherry Nightengale, and Maude Gains.
Lisa Clark visited LaVonne Friday evening.
Maude Gaines quilted Tuesday afternoon at the Peabody Senior Center.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne attended church Sunday at Whitewater Center, then attended the Gaines reunion at the Peabody senior center. They visited Elsie Tittle in Florence later in the afternoon.
Don Gillet also attended the Gaines reunion, as did Janet Post.
Rob and Christi Ammeter of Charleston, S.C., called Grandma LaVonne Sunday night to report on Samantha.
