Ammeter: Christmas visitors arrive at LaVonne's

LaVonne Ammeter and Gene Obee went to Kathryn Ireland's Monday to go with her to take her granddaughter Dana Melson of Mississippi to meet Kerri Melson at Phillipsburg.
Angela Bunger and Mitchell of Wamego arrived Wednesday morning at the Ammeter farm to spend the day. Later in the morning Bryan and Amanda Kantack and Bethany of Colorado Springs, Colo., arrived to spend the day and overnight. They left Thursday for Greensburg to spend the rest of the holiday with Steve and Melody Magette. Oh, did I have fun with those two great-grand kids!
Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island and Opal Craney visited LaVonne and her houseguests Amanda, Bryan, and Bethany and Angela and Mitchell Bunger.
Chad Bunger picked up LaVonne Friday morning and she spent Christmas Eve with them in Wamego. They attended candlelight services at the Methodist church. Christmas morning they brought LaVonne home and spent the day.
In addition to the Bungers, LaVonne's Christmas dinner guests were Blaine and Carol Ammeter of Ellinwood, Todd Ammeter, Bryan and Jodi Ammeter of Manhattan, Chris and Donna Ramsey, Isaac, Alex, and Ethan, and Melissa Ramsey and McKayla, all of Florence. All the Ammeters were overnight guests.
Sunday LaVonne, Blaine, and Carol attended church at Peabody. Dinner guests were Blaine and Carol and Todd, Bryan, and Jodi. They all returned to their homes Sunday evening.
Sunday dinner guests of Maude Gaines were Sally and Jim Abel, Kim and Kevin Robb and boys, Dick and Vickie Gantz and family, all of Perry, Shelly Harper of Inman, Ben Harper of Manhattan, Zack Harper of Lawrence, Jean Gaines of Holton, Troy and Sarah Abel and Hannah of Topeka, Herb and Melinda Gaines of rural Cassoday, Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Dustin Gaines of Newton, and Kim and Ty Gaines of Madison.
