We had Ladies Aid Wednesday afternoon. Nobody here but Dorene and I.

Michele Boese and Dylan went with me to Marion Thursday for physical therapy. We came back to my house for lunch. Later in the afternoon I visited Don Gillet at Legacy Park.

Friday dinner guests of LaVonne were Matthew and Seyan Watts and Lydia of California and Katie and Anna Watts of Kansas City. Matt, Seyan, and Lydia had just got back from China on July 4. We had such a good visit and we did enjoy little Lydia. She's a little doll. They left late afternoon to visit their grandparents, Mary and Bob Watts of Newton. They visited Carolyn and Jack Metz Saturday at Wichita.

I attended church Sunday at Whitewater Center. In the afternoon I visited Donna Robb, Aunt Nonie Widler, Emma Shaw, Dorothy Whisler, Don Gillet, and Nancy Aurell.

I had a nice visit with Larry and Theo Jean Winzer over the telephone Sunday evening.

Blaine Ammeter had heart surgery Monday in Wichita. I talked to him Tuesday and he's doing OK. Lynette Miller from Oklahoma came to be with Carol during surgery.

Michele Boese and Dylan took LaVonne to Marion Tuesday morning for physical therapy. I went to Peabody in the afternoon.

Joyce Kyle and Michele Boese visited LaVonne Tuesday evening.

Received word this week that Kenneth Kaufman had died. He was football coach at Burns High School when we were in school.

Sunday guests of Shelly Harper and Maude Gaines at Inman were Dick and Vicki Gantz and family of Perry and Jean Ann Gaines and Ronnie and Patti Gaines.

Hope you all have a good week. We send prayers and sympathy to the Laramore and Burkholder families in the loss of their loved ones.
